Nordic Popup: Norway

After the great successes of our two most recent Nordic food popups with Emily Taylor, we've decided to schedule another Sunday afternoon nordic feast on Sunday, January 19 from 12pm-4pm. This time we will be focused on traditional Norwegian foods. As with all the Nordic Popups, you can enjoy delicious dark rye based breads and housemade butter, along with a Norwegian cheese called brunost, which tastes like cheesy caramel!

As a seafaring culture, dishes from Norway tend to have a focus on fish so expect to see dishes like smoked herring in a tangy mustard sauce, along with a delightfully creamy fish stew, perfect for keeping bellies warm during the cold months.

For dessert Chef Emily will be offering a sweet rice pudding and perhaps a waffle or two, since no Norwegian meal is complete without a waffle.

Since you all loved her bread so much, we've decided to make small loaves for purchase so you can take a little bit of Nordic flavor home with you!

Join us on Jan 19 at Urban Hearth for Nordic Popup: Norway with Chef Emily!
