In collaboration with Talulla, we are hosting a patio pig roast for Father's Day
It started when Chef Erin Miller of Urban Hearth and Chef Conor Dennehy of Talulla got together over coffee to collaborate on an event. Conor mentioned he owned a la caja china box and Erin mentioned she owned a smoker and suddenly… the Patio Pig Party was born. Everyone who has ever roasted a pig knows that it involves about 25% actual pig roasting and 75% standing around playing yard games and drinking beer with your besties, so that’s where you come in. Join us for our Patio Pig Party on Sunday, June 18. Each $80 ticket includes a big plate of roast pork and your choice of 3 classic picnic sides, a choice of Talulla bread or Urban Hearth gluten free cornbread, and dessert. We’ll have a la carte options like smoked sausage, ribs, biscuits, vegetarian options, summertime cocktails and a signature beer brewed by Lamplighter Brewing Co. in celebration of this epic collaboration.
You’ve probably noticed this falls on Father’s Day, so not only are we recommending that you bring a dad as your date, but we’re throwing a gift package together that you can purchase at the event to celebrate the dad in your life, including a sweet treat from Nusli and signature bbq spice rub from Curio!
$5 of each ticket will go to Commonwealth Kitchen and the Black Economic Council of MA, to support BIPOC independent business growth in honor of Juneteenth. Tickets will go on sale the second week of May.
