The Global Slow Food Movement encompasses many aspects of food production
and consumption. Among these is the celebration of the table - taking pleasure in
living as well as eating - taking time "to smell
the roses."
In a city and a time where we are swept along at a frantic pace, creating we struggle to find
peace and simplicty wherever we can. For most
of us, the dinner table has played a roll in
finding this balance throughout our lives. Gathered
with family, friends and loved ones, we step out of the current and revitalize our souls with the
aiding comfort of good food.
|
The mission of Urban Hearth is to set the table for you - to make it easier for your to take pleasure in living, eating, and just being... no strings attached... and thankfully, no pots to wash.
